Google has started rolling out transcriptions for Android's call screening service (via 9to5google ). The Call Screen feature uses Google Assistant to answer the phone on your behalf to screen calls from unknown numbers. The only way to see a conversation before was to witness it in real time - the new transcriptions save a copy for later viewing. To find it, head info the Recent Calls of the Phone app, find a call that Google's screening service answered on your behalf, and select Call Details from the menu. If you have the latest update, you should be able to pick the See Transcript option. From here you'll be able to read the transcript, as well as rate its quality. Transcription support hasn't rolled out to everyone just yet, but after Google confirmed the feature would be available before the end of the year, it's unlikely to be long before all US Pixel owners get access.
