Honor as part of celebrating Diwali has announced that it will offer discounts on its range of smartphones during Flipkart’s Big Diwali sale. The Flipkart Big Diwali festive season sale begins November 1, which is tomorrow and will continue till November 5. Honor 9N Honor 10 Honor is offering a price drop on some of its best-selling smartphones that include Honor 9N, Honor 10, Honor 9 Lite and others. Consumers will be able to grab 10 percent instant discount on purchases made via SBI Credit cards and no cost EMI option during Flipkart Big Diwali sale. Ever since the launch of the Poco F1, it has been lauded not only for its reasonable price point, but also its custom MIUI for Poco ROM. To that effect, Poco Head Jai Mani, has confirmed that the Poco F1 will receive Android Pie and Android Q updates at least. This means that the company intends to fulfil the two-year software support promise that other OEMs also offer. Honor has started rolling out the EMUI 9 update that brings Android Pie to some of its devices. The update is being pushed out to the  Honor 10 GT, the Honor Play and Honor V10. In a poster shared on its Weibo page yesterday, Huawei said the update not only brings Android 9 Pie to the three phones but also brings version 2.0 of its GPU Turbo technology. According to the info on the poster, GPU Turbo 2.0 brings improved optimization to 8 new games including the popular multiplayer online battle arena game, King of Glory. It also increases system response by 25.8%. EMUI 9 brings a ton of new features such as a new navigation mode, HiVision - a feature similar to Google Lens but that also works with foods by telling you their calorie content. Following last night's launch event, AnTuTu published a screenshot of a  OnePlus 6T score sheet with pretty impressive results. The overall score is  298,011 , which is an improvement over the  OnePlus 6 's average score of around  289,424 , despite the two phones packing identical chipsets.  Last  month's AnTuTu global ranking  placed the OnePlus 6 in the third position right after Asus'  ROG Phone  and  Xiaomi Black Shark. But the OnePlus 6T is here to disrupt the charts - the screenshot says it takes second place, right behind the ROG Phone.

Xiaomi's  Black Shark Helo  gaming phone was  announced a week ago  and the release date was supposed to be November 10, but it appears that the handset is arriving a bit early. A lot earlier, in fact. In a Weibo post, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, announced that the official Mi online store will start selling the phone as early as today. The flash sale begins at 8PM local time and as far as we can tell from the post, it's the second one for today. Unfortunately, the 10GB version is still not here to be found and the store is offering the 8GB/128GB and the 6GB/128GB configurations only. The 6GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 ($459) while the asking price of the 8GB alteration is CNY 3,499 ($502). Just make sure you are one of the first in line because stock won't last.

Honor Magic 2 is going to be launched on 31st of October and just 2 days before it gets official, the smartphone has appeared on Geekbench site. This listing confirms that the upcoming device from Huawei’s sub-brand is going to feature 8GB of RAM and also come with the latest Android Pie operating system as it was expected. The device with the codename Huawei TNY-AL00 was listed with Kirin 980 SoC and the single score and multi-cores scores have been revealed. The Magic 2 will be the first one to be getting the Kirin 980 processor from Honor. Well, there will be two Cortex-A76 cores clocking at 2.6GHz and another two will be clocking at 1.92 GHz while the other four are power-efficient Cortex-A55 at 1.8GHz.
