EMUI 9 Update Brings GPU 2.0 to Honor 10 GT, Play and V10

Honor has started rolling out the EMUI 9 update that brings Android Pie to some of its devices. The update is being pushed out to the Honor 10 GT, the Honor Play and Honor V10.

In a poster shared on its Weibo page yesterday, Huawei said the update not only brings Android 9 Pie to the three phones but also brings version 2.0 of its GPU Turbo technology.
According to the info on the poster, GPU Turbo 2.0 brings improved optimization to 8 new games including the popular multiplayer online battle arena game, King of Glory. It also increases system response by 25.8%.

EMUI 9 brings a ton of new features such as a new navigation mode, HiVision - a feature similar to Google Lens but that also works with foods by telling you their calorie content. There is also the Digital Balance app, their own version of Digital Wellbeing and a new recent apps menu.

The Honor Play was the first phone to come with GPU turbo technology when it was announced this year, It is also the most recent of the three devices. It has a 6.3-inch LCD display, a Kirin 970 processor like the other two phones, and 4GB/6GB of RAM. Storage is 64GB but expandable via a MicroSD card slot. It has dual rear camera (16MP + 2MP), a 16MP selfie camera, and a 3750mAh battery. It has fingerprint sensor on the back.
The Honor 10 GT has 5.99-inch display. It has 8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. Honor 10 GT has a 24MP selfie camera and a (16MP + 24MP) dual rear camera. Honor 10 GT has a 3,400mAh battery. It support 5V/4.5A fast charging. It's fingerprint sensor is below the display.
The Honor V10 has 5.99-inch display. The V10 has a 13MP selfie camera and (16MP + 20MP) dual rear camera. It has 3,750mAh battery. The V10 has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. It has fingerprint sensor below the display. It has 3,750mAh battery. It support 5V/4.5A fast charging.

Yesterday,  Honor announced  a bunch of new tech that's supposed to make it to its future smartphones and the 48MP camera sensor is one of them it takes advantage of the Quad Bayer tech. Xiaomi Black Shark Helo, Gaming Phone Goes on Sale Early

Xiaomi's  Black Shark Helo  gaming phone was  announced a week ago  and the release date was supposed to be November 10, but it appears that the handset is arriving a bit early. A lot earlier, in fact. In a Weibo post, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, announced that the official Mi online store will start selling the phone as early as today. The flash sale begins at 8PM local time and as far as we can tell from the post, it's the second one for today. Unfortunately, the 10GB version is still not here to be found and the store is offering the 8GB/128GB and the 6GB/128GB configurations only. The 6GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 ($459) while the asking price of the 8GB alteration is CNY 3,499 ($502). Just make sure you are one of the first in line because stock won't last.

OnePlus Teases the New Triple Rear Camera of the OnePlus 7 Pro

OnePlus will bring out the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro on May 14 and it's already starting their teaser campaign. Under the hashtag #OnePlus7Series we get the first official nod to the new triple camera that's expected to  be a highlight of the OnePlus 7 Pro ( but is unlikely to appear on the OnePlus 7). The teaser carries the laconic message " Bells and whisle make noise. We make phones." The triple camera is expected to consist of a 3x zoom camera, an 117Â degree ultra-wide unite an d a 48MP regular module. The latter will appear in the OnePlus 7'' dual camera setup, likely accompanied by second 24MP camera. The price expected to start €700 ( approx. Rs. 54,600).
