Android 9 Pie Update is now Rolling-Out to some Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite units

Xiaomi's Mi A2 Lite is part of the Android One program and launched this summer running Android 8.1 Oreo, but a beta build of Android 9 Pie was made available by the company a couple of weeks ago.
It looks like there weren't any huge issues with it, because now the stable update to Pie is rolling out to some Mi A2 Lite units in the wild. XDA Developers reports that one user in Poland has shared screenshots proving he got the update and you can see below.

The Android 9 Pie update for the Mi A2 Lite comes as a 1GB download and brings with it FM radio functionality, adaptive battery and brightness, as well as recommended apps and actions based on your context. Of course since this is Android One you can also expect all the other improvements that Google announced to be baked in. Additionally, you're getting the November 5, 2018 security patch level.
It's unclear at the moment if the update is going out in every market where Mi A2 Lite is offered, but even if isn't we assume it's only a matter of time before it reaches every single unit out there.

First Camera Samples by the 48MP Camera of the Honor View 20

Yesterday, Honor announced a bunch of new tech that's supposed to make it to its future smartphones and the 48MP camera sensor is one of them it takes advantage of the Quad Bayer tech. The camera uses Sony's IMX586 CMOS sensor with 0.8 micron pixel size. It will surely be part of the upcoming Honor View 20. Thanks to its Quad Bayer method that stacks four adjustment 2x2 pixels into the same colour, photos appear sharper and without much noise even challenging low-light scenarios. Xiaomi Black Shark Helo, Gaming Phone Goes on Sale Early

Xiaomi's Black Shark Helo gaming phone was announced a week ago and the release date was supposed to be November 10, but it appears that the handset is arriving a bit early. A lot earlier, in fact. In a Weibo post, Lei Jun, Xiaomi's founder, announced that the official Mi online store will start selling the phone as early as today. The flash sale begins at 8PM local time and as far as we can tell from the post, it's the second one for today. Unfortunately, the 10GB version is still not here to be found and the store is offering the 8GB/128GB and the 6GB/128GB configurations only. The 6GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 ($459) while the asking price of the 8GB alteration is CNY 3,499 ($502). Just make sure you are one of the first in line because stock won't last.
