Vivo Y93 comes in Starry Night and Red colour variants

Chinese mobile maker Vivo has launched a new smartphone - Vivo Y93 - in China. The latest handset in the company's Y-Series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor. The other key highlights of the smartphone include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, 6.2-inch display, and dual rear camera setup. The Vivo Y93 is a budget Android smartphone and is currently available for sale in China. It is available in two gradient colour models and looks quite similar to the Vivo V11.

Vivo Y93 specifications

The dual-SIM Vivo Y93 runs FuntouchOS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It also comes pre-loaded with the company's Jovi AI assistant. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1580 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz, paired with 4GB RAM.
In terms of optics, the Vivo Y93 bears a dual rear camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera also features phase-detection autofocus and supports AI-powered portrait mode, while the front camera comes with features like Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers.
The Vivo Y93 is equipped with 64GB inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and OTG support. The handset comes with facial recognition technology but does not have a fingerprint sensor It is fuelled by a 4,030mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone measures 155.11x75.09x8.28mm.

The Vivo Y93 has been priced at CNY 1,500 (roughly Rs. 15,900). It is currently available for purchase via Vivo's online store in China. Notably, the smartphone is available in Starry Night and Red colour variants. As of now, there is no information about the handset's availability in other markets.

ZTE Axon 10 Pro with 6.47-Inch AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 855 SoC Goes Official

At the MWC 2019 held in February this year, ZTE announced its first ever 5G smartphone called ZTE Axon 10Pro 5G. Last month, the company even showcased the device at 5G event held in Shanghai, China. Now, the company launched the 4G version of the Axon 10 Pro in Chinese market. It comes in three different storage options - 6 GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. Talking about the pricing, the base variant will be retailing for just CNY 3199 (approx. USD 470/ INR 33,000). The 8GB and 12GB RAM variants are priced at CNY 3699 (approx.
