Samsung's Galaxy S10-Series Screen Sizes Revealed

Samsung's Galaxy S10 Lite, S10 and S10+ Screen Sizes The famous leakster Evan Blass just published three renders that are supposed to be the upcoming Galaxy S10 lineup from Samsung. However, the post explicitly states that the images are based on a case manufacturer's expectations. According to the renders the smallest S10 Lite would have 5.8-inch display with a punch hole for camera in the middle while the regular S10 will sport 6.1-inch panel with the same front-facing camera design. The biggest S10+ version will have a massive 6.4-inch display with two holes for dual-camera setup. The renders are probably based on the rumours so far, so we suggest taking the news with a healthy portion of skepticism. But on the other hand, the report comes from trust-worthy source and coincidently, Ice Universe (another well-known leakster) confirms the screen sizes in a reply under the post. At least we can take the screen sizes out of this. Source

Samsung caught using DSLR photo on Galaxy A8 Star landing page

By the point, it's safe to say you can never assume that phone makers promote their phones using actual photos taken with the product that they are advertising. Is this false advertising? Only if you note explicitly says one thing and lies about it. Otherwise, is it up to interpretation? This time, the photo in question is one that you can find on the Hong Kong version of Samsung's  Galaxy A8 Star landing page . Scroll down a bit and you'll see it, describing Live Focus and how the user can manually adjust the Bokeh effect to as little or as much as they want. Only, this photo wasn't actually shot with the darn thing. Source: diyphotography.net shot by Dunja Djudjic This is ironic because Samsung did the exact same thing with the Samsung Galaxy A8 earlier this year, in two tweets by Samsung Brazil. Apparently, posting a selfie to promote a smartphone that wasn't taken with with actual phone and then watermarking "Samsung" in the photo isn't fal...
