OnePlus 7 Concept Renders Reveals In-Display Camera and Triple Rear Camera Setup

OnePlus 7

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 6T last month. Compared to the predecessor model, the Oneplus 6T offers higher screen as it features a smaller notch. The new trend that is expected to soon hit the smartphone industry is an in-display camera design, which involves a circular cutout for an in-display front camera. It is speculated that OPPPO R19 could be one of the first smartphone to arrive with an in-display camera technology. Since OnePlus is known for borrowing design cues from OPPO’s R-series, it is speculated that the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphone may resemble the OPPO R19. Concept renders of the OnePlus 7 smartphone have showed the new in-display camera design.

The above image shows a notch-less screen on the rumored on the OnePlus 7. It features a small hole at the top-center position under which has in-display camera technology. It appears that the OnePlus 7 will offer a high screen-to-body ratio of around 95 percent. Like its predecessor phone, the OnePlus 7 is expected to feature an Optic AMOLED screen that carries support for FHD+ resolution. The renders reveal that the OnePlus 7 will be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor technology.

OnePlus 7 Triple Rear Camera Setup
The design of the back panel of the OnePlus 7 resembles with OnePlus 6T. However, there is a third camera sensor below the dual camera setup and the OnePlus logo. This suggests that the OnePlus 7 could be the first smartphone from the company to arrive with triple rear camera setup.
The concept renders state that the OnePlus 7 includes 4150mAh battery, 24-megapixel front-facing camera and 24-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel triple rear cameras with support for 4K slow motion video shooting. The smartphone is equipped with support for 5G connectivity.
A recent report has claimed that the OnePlus' 5G capable smartphone arriving next year that will not be the OnePlus 7, but another handset that will belong to a new series. The 5G smartphone from OnePlus may get unleashed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 tech trade show in February next year.
